A few notes from ARTS CONNECT experiences:

“Great music is the perfect antidote for stressful work. Needed more than ever in the aftermath of the traumatic shooting at our Sand Point Housing this summer.” – Mike, Solid Ground

“I love the intimate setting of the Abbey and the opportunity to see performers such as Doug (Martsch), who typically play much larger venues!” – Brian, Jewish Family Services

“Access to the arts is such a critical aspect of knowledge that is too often reserved only for the privileged. Thank you for your generosity.” – Launa, FamilyWorks Food Bank and Resource Center

“As we work to stabilize our youth by providing basic needs (food, shelter, safety, health care), we also find it essential to empower them as much as possible. In engaging with the arts, and with storytelling in particular, some of our youth are able to find their voice and ultimately find that they, too, have a story to tell.” – Dia, YouthCare
