    FULL SERVICE CATERING

Below are the preferred caterers for Fremont Abbey. Using another caterer will require an additional $200 fee.

All the folks listed here know the Abbey setup well and have supported us in various ways in the past so please choose them for your event if at all possible.

    Premier Caterer

    ripe-logoRipe Catering:

At Ripe Catering, we provide full-service catering devoted to creating unique and memorable events that reflect our clients’ personal tastes and styles. We use only fresh, seasonal, high quality ingredients when preparing our food and our menus are individually tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients. We strive to use locally sourced products as often as possible and we partner with some of Seattle’s best vendors to provide each client with a great experience of our city.

    PREFERRED CATERERS:

    Madres Kitchen

Madres Kitchen is dedicated to delicious foods prepared fresh daily. Entrepreneurial moms, Heather Chitty, Marci West, and Kristen Cole are as delightful as their food. Best of all, they do it with organic, locally-produced ingredients that are both healthy and tasty. Madres benefits from the bounty of fresh food grown and raised in the Pacific Northwest ad a network of farmers and sustainable businesses. Madres Kitchen is a full service catering company that can prepare food for small business lunches and parties, big corporate events, and weddings.

    Blue Ribbon Cooking

Since 1995, Blue Ribbon Cooking has been at the forefront of the Seattle food and entertaining scene. Our catering company specializes in elegant and fun events for both private and corporate clients. We have become most known for our bountiful family-style service that is regularly shared at weddings and other events throughout the Puget Sound area. We offer all-inclusive wedding services that allow our couples to relax into the planning process and let our team of event professionals take the reins while creating custom and creative weddings on a budget.

    12 Baskets Catering

“When owner John Bagge began Twelve Baskets Catering in 1976, eating and buying locally was simply his way of life. Once the local eating ethic became a selling point, the company didn’t need to reinvent itself – it has been offering local-food catering to Seattle and Bellevue for more than three decades. Adding flavor to philosophy, our team contributes decades of culinary expertise to Twelve Baskets Catering. Their commitment to delicious food is a significant addition to the company’s sustainability equation.” // 2013 Pick – The Knot of Best Weddings

    BARTENDING:

    – Ask your caterer first as they may provide bar service.  See our Events Guide/FAQ for policies on liquor, beer, wine and permits.

    – Abbey Event/Bar Staff – email our events coordinator to arrange, typically $25/hr + tips, $100 minimum

    – Pour Girls & Guys

    – For Kegs we recommend Two Beers Brewing as they deliver & pickup (including tap), or try Fremont Brewing or arts supporter, Georgetown Brewing.

    OTHER:

Pecado Bueno (Restaurant across the street), a big donor to the arts & community groups
Not a full service caterer but has great healthy mexican food and can setup a nice taco bar, etc.

*Note: Food trucks may be added on to your standard catering plan (ie. that includes service staff, dishware, linens, etc) but is not typically sufficient as a full service caterer.  Also, be sure to make a plan for free truck parking on the corner next to the Abbey. To guarantee the spot you may want to leave a car there the night before, or even just get a parking permit from the city.
