ABOUT: Our Artist Boost program is expanding to present opportunities around Seattle to help local artists sustain a career in this increasingly challenging economy.  Below in the Google Doc you’ll find opportunities to perform at offsite venues, companies, parties, etc. and thanks to our grants & donors we’re able to pass on all or the majority of booking fees to you the artist directly.  Some admin fees may be paid by the companies depending on the gig but artist payments as stated are always 100% to the artists.

Most gigs will be for live music but some other creative economy bookings that we’ve facilitated include poets at Microsoft parties, visual artists at Verity company retreats, live painters at Two Beers Brewing or Peddler brewing (that turn into art on pints!), background bands at Pecado Bueno catering event, and other corporate gigs.

Please note: These events are not produced by Abbey Arts so the experience will be different than a normal Abbey style event. The audience may be talking, there may be a dinner, changes may occur day of with the client, etc.  We can’t guarantee your experience but we do our best to pre-select and curate so it’s still a fun learning and decent $ all the time from trusted sources (or paid in advance to Abbey Arts).
