Here’s how to fulfill your barter with the Abbey! Thanks for jumping right in.
Be sure to keep track of your time at $15/hr credit and email arts(at)fremontabbey.org. If you have a professional service such as graphic design, sound tech, press release writing, etc. that can be credited at $30/hr with prior approval by Abbey staff.
Come by to pickup posters and put them up around town – take photos of where you poster and email them to us
Print your own posters from our files and put them up around town – take photos
Promote online with Social Media, Blogs, etc. – cc to arts@fremontabbey.org with emails you’re sending out to press, blogs, etc. Send us a screen capture of some of your social media or just tag @fremontabbey with the posts
TUESDAYS AT 2-6PM / 2nd Tuesdays at 5:30-11pm. Just pick a date and email volunteer@fremontabbey.org to let us know! One week notice advised so we can prepare tasks. Wear work clothes as you may be doing cleaning, painting, minor repair work, organizing, postering, landscaping, sweeping, etc. We also have more office oriented work like scrap booking, photo collage, decorating, improving the space, etc.
