More info:
Abbey Arts is extending an invitation to local Artists of all types to submit their ideas for exciting new events in 2020!
Artist curators would have the opportunity to present proposals for events that showcase profound works of art and/or music being made here in Seattle, to be held at one of Abbey Arts’ beautiful, historic venues.
Depending on level of involvement, curators will be eligible for a stipend or percentage of ticket sales.
The primary goal is to help bring in up & coming, potentially less heard and developing voices that deserve more support from venues & audiences, but to ensure there is an audience, applicants should start with a “headliner” and work from there.
Apply now for limited dates at Ballard Homestead & Fremont Abbey. Other venues may be available for events that have a large draw / proven ticket sales history.
Admin & event staffing fees may apply (sometimes covered by grant funding).
Program criteria:
– Artist groups helping or involving underserved communities
– Simple events not involving too much planning or logistics
