Part art-making class, part creative project accountability group, Creative Workspace is for creative people of all disciplines. This is not a technique class. Nope. Technique is useful, but it’s not the thing that lights my fire. Ideas are what really get me going.
Through weekly assignments and in-class exercises, we explore a million different ways to spark imagination, and we dig into questions like, “What do I want to say with my art?” “What do I want to be putting into the world?” and “How can I use art to respond to what’s going on around me or process what I’m experiencing?”

Undercurrent classes investigate the vigor, mechanics, and efficiency of floorwork with care, curiosity, and precision. While exploring fluid ways of moving low to the floor, practitioners use the architecture of their bodies to make challenging movement smooth, strategic, and strengthening. Undercurrent believes in the longevity of dance and aims for this method of floorwork to be as physically sustainable as it is innovative in its vocabulary. The practice supports movers of diverse backgrounds and skill sets in balancing and conditioning their bodies while adding versatility to their movement toolsets.

In-person classes were hosted regularly in New York, Seattle, Portland, Indianapolis, Salt Lake City, and Los Angeles and have popped up in cities worldwide.
