“Mr. Amidon, who sings and plays guitar, banjo and fiddle in a smart approximation of an old-time style, puts himself in fine company on his latest album, ‘Lily-O’ (Nonesuch). Recorded in Iceland, it was produced by the eclectic composer Valgeir Sigurosson, with a band consisting of the guitarist Bill Frisell, the bassist Shahzad Ismaily and the drummer Chris Vatalaro. (N. C.)”   – New York Times / Plus check out the New York Times album review

Eli West‘s duo (with Cahalen Morrison) was chosen Best of 2014 for
NW Roots Music by Seattle Weekly!
