June 4, 2016: CATHEDRALS XII + Giant Sound Bath
(Tickets available at the door, opens 7:00)
Indie bands simplified down to only their voices perform in the colossal unadorned St Mark’s Cathedral. Audience sits all around the space on blankets, yoga mats, benches, chairs.
Singers this year include: Adra Boo (Fly Moon Royalty), Maiah Manser, The Banner Days (Bradford Loomis & Beth Whitney), Kelli Schaefer (Portland), Hope Simpson (Ever So Android), Nouela Johnston, Phinisey (Tacoma) and special guests.
All performing short sets with no instruments. All ages, open seating, bar w/ ID (bar profits to charity – Greening the Abbey campaign sponsored by Church of the Apostles).
Enjoy the sunset filtering through the amazing windows at St Mark’s Cathedral while listening to some of Seattle’s most powerful voices.
New this year: Concert will run approximately 8-9:30 followed by a separately ticketed “Giant Sound Bath” experience led by Daniella White at 9:45-11pm and featuring vocals by Daniel Blue (motopony). $10 student advance, $12 general advance, $15 door (all)
$20 for the sound bath only or $25 for both
Bring your own yoga mat, blanket, cushion, etc.
Quiet picnics welcome.
All ages, bar w/ ID.

This is a fundraiser event for the Greening the Abbey Project, managed by the building owners, Church of the Apostles.
